The machine is equipped with a two-stroke engine and must always be run using a mixture of gas and two-stroke oil. It is important to accurately measure the amount of oil to be mixed to ensure that the correct mixture is obtained. We recommend the use of premixed alkylate or environmental gasoline mixed with two-stroke oil 2% (50:1). Regular 90-100 octane gasoline can also be used.
Two-stroke oil
The fuel is gasoline with a 2% oil mixture (one part oil to 50 parts petrol). For the best lubricating results use Chicago Pneumatic’s environmentally friendly two-stroke oil, which has been specially developed for Chicago
Pneumatic’s gas engine hammering and rock-drilling machines. If Chicago Pneumatic’s two-stroke oil is not available, use a high quality two-stroke oil for air-cooled engines (not two-stroke oil for outboard engines).
It is recommended to use only Chicago Pneumatic IMPACT-OIL for the impact mechanism.
