The Greenlee Fairmont HPB45-2AVS 45 lb. 1 x 4-1/4 Shank Medium Duty Breaker is a rugged hydraulic paving breaker engineered for utility crews, contractors, and maintenance professionals who require reliable performance for small to medium demolition jobs. Ideal for breaking sidewalks, curbs, and similar materials or driving ground rods, the HPB45-2AVS combines powerful impact performance with operator-focused comfort and durability.

This breaker features a 1 in. x 4-1/4 in. tool shank and delivers 63 ft-lb of blow energy with up to 2,160 blows per minute, providing the force needed to efficiently break concrete, asphalt, and other tough materials. The tool operates with an open-center hydraulic system and requires 5–8 GPM oil flow, making it compatible with many hydraulic power units used in utility and construction environments.

Designed with operator comfort in mind, the HPB45-2AVS incorporates Greenlee's patented AVS (Anti-Vibration System) spring-dampened handles, which significantly reduce vibration transmitted to the user by as much as 80-90 percent helping minimize fatigue during prolonged operation. An integral rubber damper helps reduce chisel noise, while the two-step trigger provides improved control and responsiveness during operation.
