Hello Roy, thanks for your question. This unit requires 2000psi and operates optimally at 6gpm. We offer a couple of hydraulic units that meet those specifications. These are made by Husqvarna, CS Unitec and Stanley.

Could I run an 18 inch metal blade on this?

The maximum recommended blade would be a 12". Anything larger than that would be at your own risk.
