Because the plug is inflatable and reinforced with Kevlar cording, it can handle moderate backpressure levels typical in building and factory applications, but backpressure ratings should be verified against the project’s parameters. The tire valve inflation setup uses a standard fitting, so matching inflation equipment is straightforward.

Generally, a pillow shaped pipe pipe plug can be inserted through an opening 1/3 the diameter of the pipe.
