The Tehma PP600A High Pressure Pneumatic Power Unit offers pneumatic power through either a 3Hp single-phase electric motor or a 5Hp gasoline engine configuration. This unit supplies compressed air rather than hydraulic flow, supporting pneumatic tools that require high pressure. The two-stage pump layout enables higher air pressure and volume output for connected pneumatic tools, which can increase tool speed and operational capacity compared to single-stage units.
This power unit differs from hydraulic power units by providing pneumatic pressure, which is suited for pneumatic tools rather than hydraulic tools. When selecting a tool package, this unit is appropriate for pneumatic-powered tools rather than hydraulic tools that require oil flow and pressure. The electric motor version is suitable for indoor or sheltered locations supplied with appropriate electrical power, while the gasoline engine option is intended for outdoor use in regions where non-electric power is preferable and permitted. This product is intended to match pneumatic tool requirements rather than hydraulic tool needs.
Planning the placement and use of the Tehma PP600A involves verifying the air-line size, routing, and pressure requirements for the connected pneumatic tools. The two motor options require different power sources: a 230V/110V single-phase electrical supply for the electric motor model, and fuel supply plus outdoor ventilation for the gasoline engine model. Position the gasoline engine version so that exhaust is positioned away from work personnel and the work face, as the engine produces exhaust gases.
Consider the pneumatic hose length and routing to minimize pressure drop. Longer hose runs may reduce pressure available at the tool, so hose diameter and length should be planned accordingly. The optional cooling system, if installed, helps control oil temperature in the pump during extended or demanding use, which can be relevant when pneumatic tools operate continuously or under heavy load.
Delivery methods for this unit typically involve freight shipment on a pallet and may require a loading dock, forklift, or liftgate for unloading. Since this product is sale only, planning involves verifying site access and space for setup. For ongoing maintenance, inspect hoses and couplers for leaks, clean debris accumulation, and verify satisfactory cooling system operation if equipped.
When applied in work near water or environmentally sensitive locations, users should confirm compressor drain and air supply quality to avoid moisture or contaminants that could affect pneumatic tool performance. This unit supports pneumatic tools requiring matched air volume and pressure but is not intended for hydraulic tool packages.
The unit is available with two different motors, a versatile 3Hp single-phase electric motor, ideal for indoor demolition as it can be plugged to a traditional 230V/110V household power, or a 5Hp gasoline engine for outdoor uses (ONLY FOR NON-EUROPEAN COUNTRIES).
Allows to speed up to the maximum the tools connected and significantly improve the work rate and consequently the productivity.
On demand, can be equipped with a cooling system able to contrast the oil overheating and improve the use of the tools connected even with the more demanding and prolonged applications.
