Industrial Lifting Equipment for Sale and Rental

RTO supplies pneumatic and hydraulic lifting equipment for industrial maintenance, structural lifting, construction, utility work, heavy equipment recovery, rescue operations, and other demanding applications. These systems are designed to provide controlled lifting force in locations where conventional cranes, jacks, or other lifting equipment may not fit.

Our lifting equipment selection includes high-pressure lifting bags, low-clearance lifting solutions, hydraulic lifting systems, controllers, hoses, regulators, air supply accessories, and related components. Many lifting bags have a compact insertion height, allowing them to be positioned beneath machinery, vehicles, structural components, pipelines, and other heavy loads before inflation.

Selecting the correct lifting system requires consideration of the total load weight, available insertion clearance, required lift height, working pressure, contact surface, load stability, and available air or hydraulic power source. Accessories such as controllers, hoses, regulators, cribbing, and stabilization equipment should also be included in the project plan.

Selected lifting equipment is available for rent as well as purchase. RTO can help compare capacities, dimensions, operating pressures, accessory requirements, and rental availability to identify equipment suited to the application. Always follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions, use appropriate cribbing and load stabilization, and never rely on an inflated lifting bag as the sole support for a raised load.

Helpful answers

Category Questions

What are high pressure lifting bags used for?

High pressure lifting bags are designed for applications where powerful lifting force is needed in confined or low-access areas. They are commonly used in heavy equipment recovery, industrial maintenance, structural moving, rescue operations, pipeline work, and infrastructure projects.

Why are pneumatic lifting bags useful in low-clearance situations?

Their low insertion height allows operators to position the lifting bag beneath heavy structures, vehicles, or machinery where traditional lifting equipment may not fit. Once inflated, the bag generates substantial lifting force while maintaining a compact footprint.

What types of loads can heavy lift air bags lift?

Pneumatic lifting systems are designed for demanding lifting and stabilization applications across industrial, rescue, utility, and construction environments. Their high lifting force and controlled inflation make them suitable for lifting or stabilizing extremely heavy loads.

Can lifting bags be stacked together?

Yes, certain lifting bags can be stacked to increase lifting height when used properly. Some pneumatic lifting bags feature convex, interlocking surfaces and safety strap systems designed to improve stability when stacking. Proper operating procedures and load planning are important to maintain safe lifting conditions during stacked operations.

What safety precautions apply to Lifting?

Use cribbing and load stabilization, inspect bags and hoses, keep personnel clear of the load path, operate within rated pressure and capacity, and never rely on an inflated bag as the sole support for a raised load.

Can Lifting be rented?

Selected lifting are available for rent from RTO. Confirm capacity, lift height, accessories, controller configuration, air supply, and project dates.
