It is powered by a 13 HP Honda GX390 gasoline engine with a recoil start and low-oil alert that pauses operation to protect the engine. This makes it a mobile power source for hydraulic breakers, drills, chainsaws, pruners, and compatible tools common in utility, construction, and maintenance environments.

Compared to electric or smaller gas-powered hydraulic power units, the F13’s flow rate and pressure range support a broader range of medium-demand hydraulic tools. Its dual flow adjustment lets operators tailor output to specific tool requirements within the 5 to 8 GPM range. The welded steel tubular frame and integrated oil cooler with electric fan make it suited for operation under jobsite conditions.
