Details
The Stanley CH15 Hydraulic Chipping Hammer is a lightweight, high-performance hydraulic tool engineered for efficient chipping, scaling, and light material breaking in a variety of environments. Designed as a hydraulic alternative to traditional air tools, the CH15 delivers excellent power-to-weight performance that makes it ideal for breaking light concrete, chipping steel, rock, masonry, and other tough surfaces, especially in tight or hard-to-access locations.
Constructed with an ergonomic “D” handle and a floating trigger that engages with minimal pressure, the CH15 increases operator comfort and control while reducing fatigue. Its compact 17″ (43 cm) overall length and balanced design make it easy to maneuver in both land-based construction and underwater commercial diving applications. The tool body is insulated for shock and heat protection, further enhancing comfort and durability.
The CH15 accepts .580″ hex-shank, oval–collar chipping bits, and is compatible with a range of tool steels like flat chisels, moils, and bull points. Hydraulic flow requirements vary by model, typically 4–6 gpm (15–23 L/min) or 7–9 gpm (26–34 L/min) at 1000–2000 psi (69–140 bar), depending on configuration. The tool uses standard HTMA/EHTMA flush-faced couplers with hose whips included. Available in standard or underwater versions, the CH15 is highly versatile for construction, demolition, maintenance, and subsea tasks.
