This plug features NR-SBR rubber reinforced with Kevlar tire cording, balancing flexibility with strength for commercial applications.
Pipe Access And Setup Planning
Before installation, inspect the plug for any cuts or abrasions in the rubber, as damage can increase rupture risk even if not full depth. The plug is inflated via a standard 1/4" male inflation fitting and must be inflated to its specified working pressure, which is tested at three times that pressure for safety. Inflation pressure should be monitored and maintained during use rather than set and regularly monitored. Plan for pipe access that allows secure placement and seating of the plug.
