Beat Engel has more than 20 years of experience in the field of development and manufacturing of high performance breathing helmets for underwater work, surface work in inert and toxic environments and other unbreathable conditions.

The DSL B-2 CNF (Comex Nuclear Freeflow) is a freeflow diving helmet for works in nuclear power plants, sewage stations as well as other contaminated environments. This helmet is very comfortable to wear thanks to his removable ballast system and is easy to maintain. 

The DSL B-2 CNF is built with a adjustable freeflow system. The air distribution block is mounted on the right side of the helmet.

This system protects also the head valve which contains two 5mB spring loaded expiration valves. This way there is a permanent overpressure of 5mB inside the helmet. This system prevents any return of toxic gases and particles.

The Helmet is mounted directly via neckring onto a VIKING PRO drysuit as a constant volume system.

The neckring is equipped with an anti-panic closing / locking system combined with an adjustable crutchbelt.

The helmet has a built-in communication system: One microphone and two loudspeakers. The screen is POLYCARBONATE 6mm, with a big angle of vision and protected by a frame of stainless steel.

The helmet adapts to all headsizes and headforms thanks to a system of foam cushions and the inside anatomic configuration.
