Beat Engel has more than 20 years of experience in the field of development and manufacturing of high performance breathing helmets for underwater work, surface work in inert and toxic environments and other unbreathable conditions.
The DSL B-2 ND is equipped with a SCUBAPRO A700 demandvalve and a unidirectional airflow system. The air distribution block is mounted on the right side of the helmet.
This system protects also the exhaust / overpressure valve which contains one 5mB springloaded expiration valve and one flapper valve. This way there is a permanent overpressure of 5mB inside the helmet. This system prevents any return of toxic liquid and particles.
The Helmet can be mounted directly via neckring onto a VIKING PRO drysuit but is not to be used as a constant volume system. The neckring is equipped with an anti-panic closing / locking system combined with an adjustable crutchbelt.
The helmet has a built-in communication system: One microphone and two loud speakers. The screen is POLYCARBONATE 6mm, with a big angle of vision and protected by a frame of stainless steel.
The helmet adapts to all headsizes and headforms thanks to an adjustable inliner.
EURONORM: EN 136, EN 137, EN 250, EN 15333-1
