Underwater Hydraulic Rock Splitters

Hydraulic rock splitters provide a non-percussive demolition method that allows operators to fracture material accurately and efficiently. They are commonly used for rock removal, concrete demolition, foundation work, tunneling, and structural modification projects.

Unlike hydraulic breakers that rely on repeated impacts, rock splitters create fractures through expansion force. This allows operators to perform demolition with greater precision while reducing the vibration that can affect surrounding structures.

Hydraulic rock splitters can generate significant splitting force while remaining compact and portable. Their relatively lightweight design allows operators to perform demolition work in tunnels, basements, restricted-access areas, and other environments where larger equipment may not be practical.

Use an appropriate design and rigging safety factor, inspect the bag and hardware before use, control inflation, keep personnel clear of the load path, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for inflation pressure, attachment, and capacity.
