The Sava SLK 45 PowerLift bag is designed for high-force lifting in confined or low-clearance spaces. From a selection standpoint, confirm the 49.1-ton capacity meets your load requirements and that the bag’s 31x31 inch inflated size fits your workspace and lifting points. The Kevlar-cord reinforced rubber construction minimizes damage risk compared to mechanical or hydraulic lifting devices, which is important on delicate or spark-sensitive loads. Before selection, verify that pneumatic operation at 8 bar (116 PSI) is compatible with your air supply and control setup.
Setup And Planning Notes
Plan for secure placement by confirming clean, surfaces where the bag will contact the load. Position safety straps for anchoring and to allow pulling or placement ropes to minimize personnel exposure under lifted loads. Since inflation pressure must be maintained at 8 bar, arrange pressure monitoring and regulated air supply during use. The convex, dimpled interlocking surface and safety straps provide superior gripping power when two lifting bags are stacked on top of each other. Twelve standard sizes are available with lift capacity to 74 tons. Safety straps minimize shifting hazards and allow bags to to be strapped together for safety. Safety straps provide anchorage for attachment of pulling and placement ropes so it is less necessary for personnel to reach under a live, unstable load.
