Joint Zone K0652 Dinamo D Dual Hydraulic Diesel Power Unit 21HP Raywin (2 @ 5 or 1 @ 10 gpm) w/ 50' Hose Set Product Guide

How This Power Unit Fits Into A Hydraulic Tool Package

The Joint Zone K0652 Dinamo D is a diesel-powered hydraulic power unit that supplies adjustable flow configurations, allowing either two separate 5 gpm circuits or a combined single 10 gpm circuit. This configuration options supports hydraulic tools that require medium flow rates on subsea and industrial jobsites. The dual-circuit capability offers the option to operate two tools simultaneously at lower flow or a single tool needing the higher flow, which can be particularly useful when scheduling tool setup or prioritizing tasks.

Compared to electric or gasoline hydraulic power units, the diesel engine offers independence from electrical supply, making it better suited for remote or field environments where electrical power may not be available. Its 21HP engine capacity positions it for moderate to demanding hydraulic tool operation, bridging smaller portable units and larger stationary power packs.

Power Unit Planning Notes

This diesel hydraulic power unit requires outdoor placement or a ventilated area due to engine exhaust. Position the unit so the exhaust is positioned away from workers and the immediate work face to reduce exposure to fumes and heat. If used aboard a boat deck, secure the wheeled frame to prevent movement during operations or transport.

The included 50-foot hose set provides a standard length for typical site reach but verify hose routing for ease of operator access and to avoid abrasion, kinking, or restricted return flow. For longer hydraulic hose runs, consider using larger-diameter hoses or a higher-capacity power unit to compensate for pressure loss due to friction.

Hydraulic tool compatibility and coupler type must be confirmed before deployment to match the power unit’s output and confirm proper connections. The power unit supports tools requiring Type II and Type III hydraulic circuits when equipped with HTMA flush-face couplers commonly used on subsea and industrial hydraulic tools.

Because this power unit is offered for sale only, allow adequate planning for freight delivery and unloading, which may require a loading dock, forklift, or liftgate. Retain shipping materials for potential future transport. Routine post-use care includes cleaning debris from the unit, inspecting hoses and couplers for wear or leaks, and verifying oil levels and service points to maintain performance.

For work in or near water, marine, or environmentally sensitive locations, confirm jobsite hydraulic fluid requirements with site regulators. RTO does not confirm the hydraulic fluid type in this unit unless specified in advance, so verify fluid suitability for the intended environment and tool compatibility.
